President Donald Trump addresses the nation following the shooting of two National Guard members in Washington, DC, on Wednesday, November 26.

Rahmanullah Lakanwal, a 29-year-old Afghan national, has been identified as the suspect and is in custody.

The president declared earlier Wednesday that the shooter would “pay a very steep price.”
