SWEETWATER, Tenn. — For people nationwide, Thanksgiving means a busy kitchen and a full table. But for many, the holiday is quite the opposite—quiet and empty. That was until Kristy Whiteside, founder of "Right to Your Door Delivery" served her local community with much more than just a hot Thanksgiving dinner.

"We have helped so many people that are struggling right now and we have learned that there are so many more out there," Whiteside said. "We will continue, you know, our journey to be able to help these people."

Whiteside started delivering food to those in need in Monroe, Loudon and McMinn counties in 2021 during the pandemic. It was one delivery in July of this year that changed her life.
