SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTVM) - A firefighter in Georgia has demons in his past from wearing a different uniform, as a US Army Infantryman deploying to Iraq. Trent Williams is now helping other vets, while building strength to break a world record.
Georgia firefighter and Army vet Trent Williams is in warrior mode, practicing to set a new world record and sharing his message of mental health for first responders and fellow veterans.
To see him in action, he’s the very picture of strength. But this mission is even more heroic when you learn what he overcome to get here.
“I was homeless there for awhile, I was literally living in my car outside of the VA in Oklahoma City,” Army vet and triceps dips world record holder Trent Williams said.
