The FBI is asking for the public’s help to solve the death of a 23-year-old woman in Orlando whose remains were discovered nearly 700 miles from where she was last seen.
The agency on Tuesday posted new digital billboards and a $20,000 reward for information in the case of Meredith Rose Walker.
Investigators say she disappeared from downtown Orlando in late May and was later found dead in Emporia, Virginia.
Walker was last seen May 30 near Robinson Street and Mills Avenue, walking away from Lake Eola and toward Interstate 4, according to the FBI. She had been released from the Orange County Jail earlier that day. Investigators say she was wearing a red jacket and blue jeans.
