LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in the Parkland neighborhood on Wednesday.
According to LMPD, officers responded to a call at around 10:43 p.m. of a shooting in the 1000 block of South 29th Street on Wednesday, Nov. 26.
At the scene, police found a man unconscious with a gunshot wound. Officers attempted life-saving treatment until EMS arrived.
The victim was taken to UofL Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.
No information has been released about a possible suspect at this time.
