PHOENIX — Takeout and delivery were what many people were most thankful for on Thanksgiving Eve.

With family kitchens across the Valley bracing for the chaos of Thanksgiving meal prep, many residents chose to relax Wednesday night and ordered pizza, which turns out to be one of the busiest days for delivery.

At Venezia's Pizzeria in North Phoenix, it was packed with customers. Some are seen carrying out several pizzas to feed all their family members who have come in from out of town.

“This is just the easiest option. And, you know, hey, everyone's happy with pizza,” one customer said.

Another added they had already spent the day preparing for Thanksgiving and wanted to have a little break.

“I was tired of making food, and I'm ready for a snack,” another customer said.
