When three young brothers from Morenci disappeared in 2010, authorities were flooded with tips from around the world.

With the case back in the news, the leads have started anew.

Among those contacting the Michigan State Police on Tuesday was Jennifer Handsone of Pioneer, Ohio, who also contacted authorities in 2010.

She believes she saw a van belonging to the boys’ father on the day they disappeared near Pioneer, which is 20 miles west of Morenci.

The father, John Skelton, was convicted of unlawful imprisonment and served 15 years in prison. As he was about to be released this month, the Lenawee County Prosecutor’s Office charged him with three counts of open murder. He remains locked up.
