Christmas has officially arrived at Shakespeare North Playhouse, as the Prescot theatre launched its fantastic new pantomime production of Cinderella. Performed in its 470 seat timber framed Shakespearean theatre, the space provides an elaborate and multi-functioning backdrop to the classic fairytale.
Cinderella opened on Tuesday night (November 25) and every bit of the theatre was used to tell the story, with fairies popping up among the crowd, huge frogs and mice rising from out of the stage and a magical crystal carriage emerging from the rooftops.
