UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio --

Attempted traffic stop: Saybrook Road

At 11:40 a.m. Nov. 4, UHPD officers attempted to stop a vehicle for multiple traffic violations. The vehicle had been entered as wanted by Cleveland police as its owner is suspected of violent felony crimes.

The suspect vehicle pulled into a driveway in the 2400 block of Saybrook Road before nearly ramming a UHPD cruiser and fleeing the scene.

A short pursuit was initiated but was terminated due to public safety concerns.

Theft: Cedar Road

At 9:45 a.m. Nov. 3, a resident went to the police station to report the theft of a package delivered on Oct. 23.

The value of the item taken was $49. Information was gathered and a report was completed.

At 2:10 p.m. Nov. 4, police respond
