Stephen Curry once again captured attention with his unbelievable pre-game trick shots ahead of the Golden State Warriors’ game against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night. But once the actual game tipped off, the excitement shifted the other way. Curry and the Warriors fell 104-100 at Chase Center vs. the Rockets in their NBA Cup group stage contest.

Houston entered the game without Kevin Durant, who was absent due to a family matter. Even so, the Rockets found a new spark in Reed Sheppard. Sheppard stepped up and guided his team to a crucial road win that improved their record to 12-4. On the other side, the loss dropped Golden State to 10-10 and pushed them to the bottom of their group standings.
