BankNewport delivers food items to Operation Stand Down Rhode Island

BankNewport recently concluded its Kind Souls, Full Bowls comfort food collection drive, delivering more than 500 nonperishable food items to Operation Stand Down Rhode Island (OSDRI) on Wednesday, Nov. 5. The donations, collected from the Bank’s 19 branch locations statewide between Sept. 29 and Oct. 17, will help stock OSDRI’s food pantry and provide support to local veterans and their families throughout the holiday season.

The initiative encouraged customers, employees, and community members to contribute new, unopened boxes and bags of pasta, rice, cereal, and oatmeal. The response was overwhelmingly positive, reflecting the community’s strong commitment to supporting those who have served our country.
