As has become tradition here at Vogue Runway, on Thanksgiving we pick a color straight from the day’s feast and indulge in some good old-fashioned inspiration hunting. Although red-carpet method dressing is not as popular as it has been in recent years, holiday-themed dressing is as American as apple pie. This year, brown seems to be having a moment; the much-maligned shade offers an easy way to give your wardrobe some oomph, whether you prefer neutrals or love to boldly color-block. This time, we decided to embrace monochromatic dressing; imagine yourself sitting on your couch after getting seconds, glamorously half asleep in the silky sheen of a matching Fendi ensemble, or in a severe YSL look that says, “I will only eat carrots, but I like to dip them in gravy as a treat!”
