There was no hesitation in the voice of Cabot boys basketball Coach Troy Campbell when offering his description of the kind of person Ethan Dietz was in high school.
Campbell was in his first season as Vilonia's varsity head coach when he began interacting with the then-slim-framed sophomore, who was somewhat raw on the court but seasoned when it came to possessing a set of interpersonal skills that aren't necessarily found in a lot of 15-year-olds.
"Man, he was fun to be around is how I would explain it, and it didn't take long to see that," Campbell said. "He was always one of the best teammates in the locker room, and he was always a kid that everyone looked up to and loved being around.
