OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Some high clouds are moving through early this morning helping to hold temperatures in the 20s as we start Thanksgiving. We should get some afternoon sunshine helping us to warm into the upper 30s. That happens with a light north breeze today.
Clouds are set to increase overnight tonight heading into the start of a busy 3 days over the weekend. Friday will be cloudy all day with very spotty light snow possible after 9am. Most of that will likely be on the Iowa side of the river deep into the evening too.
Southeast wind gusts start to pick up through the day too with gusts near 30 mph by late afternoon. You could easily have some blowing snow if you get some snow showers Friday PM.
Clouds and precipitation really fill in overnight Friday night with a wintry mix devel
