It feels like it’s been an eternity since the 2025 Penn State season started with designs on a national championship, but here we are: the regular-season finale.

The Nittany Lions (5-6, 2-6) travel to Rutgers (5-6, 2-6) this weekend in a battle for bowl eligibility. The game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. Saturday on Big Ten Network.

Penn State is favored fairly heavily at 10.5 points after its two-game win streak, and the Lions haven’t lost to the Scarlet Knights since they started squaring off in Big Ten play in 2014.

In fact, Rutgers hasn’t even put up more than 10 points in a game in that time.
