OXFORD, Wis. (WMTV) -A woman in Marquette County recently celebrated her 103 rd birthday! Verna Crass turned 103 on November 21 st . She celebrated with her closest family and friends at the weekly “breakfast club” she attends at Frannie May’s Café in Oxford.

“Well, it’s a good way to start out the day, you’re always laughing,” Crass said of their Monday morning meetups.

Crass was born in Richford, Wisconsin in nearby Waushara County in 1922. She says she moved to Oxford with her family when she was four-years-old. She moved to Madison as a young adult and lived there for six years. But she eventually moved back to Oxford, married a farmer, and had four children.

“Well, it’s been a wonderful life. I can’t complain,” she said.
