No. 8 Alabama rolled past Maryland 105-72 in its third game of the Players Era Festival.
The Crimson Tide grabbed a 2-0 lead 16 seconds into the game and never looked back. Alabama improves to 5-2 on the year and finishes 2-1 in the Players Era Festival, recording wins over UNLV and Maryland and its lone loss to Gonzaga.
Here are a few takeaways from the game.
Bama’s Limited Bench Shines
With Keitenn Bristow out after suffering a leg injury in the previous game, Alabama was down to just nine scholarship players for the final game of the Players Era Festival. All nine players saw action, and the four coming off the bench did their part in helping the Crimson Tide to victory. Alabama’s bench outscored the Maryland bench 36-22, led by Davion Hannah’s 12-point performance off the bench.
