The devastating Hong Kong infernos is now the deadliest in decades more than a day after an apartment fire quickly spread to several neighbouring complexes being renovated.
As of Thursday, 75 people have died from the multiple blazes including a firefighter, local officials told the _South China Morning Post_.
Officials also said 76 people are injured including 11 firefighters. The rescue is ongoing as at least 62 people are still trapped inside seven charred buildings.

The fires, which began mid-afternoon Wednesday, have devastated the Wang Fuk Court and Kwong Fuk Estate complexes in the city’s Tai Po neighbourhood.
Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee said the fires at the seven affected complexes are now under control.
