NEWBURGH- The City of Newburgh will suspend metered parking from November 29–30 to welcome visitors for its annual Shop Small Weekend, taking place throughout the Downtown and Broadway business corridors.

Free parking will be available along the full length of Broadway, as well as on Liberty, Grand, and Prospect Streets.

Mayor Torrance Harvey said the move is meant to boost local commerce. “Newburgh’s small businesses are the backbone of our local economy and the heartbeat of our neighborhoods,” he said, encouraging residents and visitors to support local shops.

More information about Shop Small Weekend can be found on the Shop Downtown Newburgh Facebook and Instagram pages.
