Strictly Come Dancing favourite La Voix has just been cast in a project that fans are calling "epic". The RuPaul's Drag Race UK season 6 runner-up, who withdrew from Strictly due to an injury earlier this month, is taking to the stage in a beloved musical adaption.

La Voix is set to play the role of villain Miss Hannigan in Annie during the musical's UK and Ireland tour, which kicks off in May next year.

The red-headed drag queen will star as the tyrannical Miss H in performances across five venues, including the New Wimbledon Theatre in May, and the Palace Theatre in Manchester in June.

Further casting will be announced in due course.
