Bruce Willis is surrounded by love this holiday season.
As the Sixth Sense star’s battle with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) continues, his wife Emma Heming Willis shared how their family is ensuring he remains a central part of their festivities.
“You have to learn and adapt and make new memories, bring in the same traditions that you had before,” she told People in an interview published Nov. 27. “Life goes on. It just goes on.”
Indeed, three years after the 70-year-old’s diagnosis, his loved ones—including his and Emma’s daughters Mabel , 13, and Evelyn , 11, as well as his adult kids Rumer , 37, Scout , 34, and Tallulah , 31, with ex-wife Demi Moore —are trying to find positivity amid his struggles, especially at this time of year.
