Fox Sports’ Erin Andrews faced criticism this week after talking about the sacrifices she made to build her career. She shared the story on her “Calm Down” podcast with co-host Charissa Thompson while discussing what it’s like to work during the holidays. Andrews talked about being on the air for Thanksgiving and explained how often her job keeps her away from home.
She recalled advice she heard early in her career. “This is what one of my first professors said,” Andrews said. “‘If you don’t want to make forty thousand dollars in your first job, get out, If you don’t want to be told you need a nose job, get out.
