BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured on Thanksgiving Day.
Officers arrived at the scene in the 1000 block of Lilac Lane in reference to a victim of a shooting at 11:52 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man lying in the front yard with a gunshot wound.
The victim was uncooperative with officers at the scene, according to a press release from the Beaumont Police Department.
12News crew at the scene witnessed a Beaumont Fire & Rescue ambulance leaving the scene of the shooting.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
The suspect in the shooting has turned himself in and is currently speaking with detectives.
The investigation remains ongoing.
