FOR Kim Hellberg, life at Middlesbrough started in the same way that his coaching journey started more than 30 years ago - with his father by his side.

Stefan Hellberg was himself a coach and spent 35 years at Norrköping, coaching various different age groups, including the first team.

When Hellberg Jnr was just five, he would join his dad on the team bus to away games and grew up watching and learning and following in his father's footsteps.

And on Tuesday night at the Riverside, Hellberg again had his dad by his side as he took his seat in the directors' box at the Riverside after being introduced to the supporters before the Coventry game.

For both, it's little wonder there's such pride.

"This is a big step," said Hellberg in his first press conference as Boro's boss on Thursday
