WEYMOUTH — For the first time since 2018, the turkey is going to be tasting a whole lot better in Weymouth.
The Wildcats powered through a furious fourth-quarter comeback by Walpole to hang on for a 28-19 Thanksgiving Day win over the Timberwolves. The victory marked the first Thanksgiving win for Weymouth since 2018.
“It is a classic effort from our kids, just tough, gritty, fighting it out to the last play,” Weymouth coach Michael Donovan said. “They’re a great team. They’re tough to beat, and haven’t done it in a while, so it feels good for them.
