Coronation Street Viewers have been horrified to see fan favourite Todd Grimshaw face violent outbursts and manipulation at the hands of boyfriend Theo Silverton .

Ever since his wife Danielle (Natalie Anderson) left him due to his infidelity, the sinister scaffolder has taken out his feelings of self-loathing and internalised homophobia on Todd. At first it started small, with Theo using marathon training and working out as a subtle way of controlling how Todd looks and where he goes.
