Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown recently took to a live stream to provide some excellent advice for young basketball players.

Brown talked about the tendency for young players to all want to be an alpha scorer, while neglecting other important roles on a team.

“Everybody wants to be a star,” Brown said. “That’s fine to want to be that. But you have to find your niche first.”

Brown definitely provides this advice from experience, as he’s played multiple roles for the Celtics in 10 seasons, beginning as a defensive specialist when he was a rookie and having evolved into a two-way superstar.

He’s picked up an NBA Finals MVP trophy along the way, and he hasn’t even turned 30 years old yet.
