NBA Cup Group A: Suns and Thunder put undefeated records on the line

Both the Phoenix Suns and Oklahoma City Thunder secured NBA Cup victories last night and both are tied at the top of Group A in the Western Conference at 3-0.

For the Thunder, it was last year's MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who led the way, scoring 40 points to go along with six rebounds and six assists, getting the better of Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves . Isaiah Hartenstein, Chet Holmgren and Ajay Mitchell were the only other Thunder players in double figures.

As for Phoenix, it was Mark Williams who put together one of his best performances of the season as the Suns took down the Sacramento Kings . Williams finished the game with 21 points, 16 rebounds and three steals
