We have received reports of a train derailment in the region.

A listener told LNN that several rail cars, believed to be carrying grain, rolled off their tracks near Champion in Vulcan County.

The incident reportedly happened around noon on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025.

It is unclear at this time if anybody was hurt.

Champion is approximately 75 kilometres north of Lethbridge.
