Simon Cowell has revealed he undergoes blood filtering treatments in his quest to turn back the clock on ageing.

The 66 year old star - who shares 11 year old son Eric with fiancée Lauren Silverman - has disclosed the unconventional procedure he's adopted whilst attempting to maintain his health in later life.

Speaking on the Rolling Stone Music Now podcast, he explained: "I go to this wellness clinic where they actually take your blood, they rinse it, they filter it, they put it back into your body."

Simon revealed that the clinic conducts assessments which "tell you your age".
