CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. hosted his second annual Thanksgiving giveaway through his Big Mike’s Foundation at the Fairfax Recreation Center in Cleveland serving warm holiday meals and pouring love back into the very community that raised him.

“I feel like it’s truly a blessing to give back,” said Hall. “I mean, being an NFL player, we make a lot of money. It’s just like, why not? We got here for a reason with others giving back so why not be a blessing to others and just provide for them?

While there’s plenty to be grateful for this holiday season, events like this bring everything back into perspective because not long ago, Mike was in their shoes, looking up to the very kind of athlete he’s become today.
