Filming for the BBC series was thrown into chaos

The Celebrity Race Across The World stars were in for a surprise during tonight's show, as the contestants had to break protocol following a BBC ban.

The popular BBC series this year includes Strictly Come Dancing stars Tyler West and Molly Rainford, presenter Roman Kemp with his sister Harleymoon, Derry Girls actor Dylan Llewellyn and his mum Jackie, as well as Anita Rani and her dad Bal.

They're all taking on the global challenge, travelling across the world without phones, internet access and on a limited budget.

Starting their journey in Mexico, the celebrities are heading towards Colombia , traversing through Central America.
