HARRISON, Ark. (KY3) - The Boone County Sheriff’s Office is investigating shooting at home near Omaha, Ark.

Investigators say around 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies responded to a residence on Boat Dock Road in Northern Boone County. When they arrived, they found 31-year-old Robert Culver suffering from a gunshot wound to his abdomen and had been struck in the head twice with a club. Culver was transported to a Springfield hospital where according to investigators he is in serious but stable condition.

Deputies arrested 38-year-old Cody Tate on charges of First Degree Battery and Aggravated Assault. He is currently in the Boone County Jail awaiting a court hearing.
