A man has been charged with multiple offences after bank cards, house keys, a laptop and watches were stolen during break-ins at two properties in Fairfield. Merseyside Police said they received a report on Tuesday, November 25, a man had broken into the homes on Deane Road on Sunday, November 23, and again on Tuesday, November 25, taking a number of items.

Aaron Clegg, 32, of no fixed abode, was arrested and has now been charged with four counts of burglary, attempted burglary, racially/religiously aggravated intentional harassment/alarm/distress – word/writing, fraud by false representation and using threatening/abusive/insulting words/behaviour to cause harassment/alarm/distress
