A head teacher has been removed from the teaching register after allegedly flashing at staff on school grounds and during a school trip. James Richards, the former head of Cadle Primary in Swansea, was described as "predatory" and "sexualised". His behaviour led to him being banned from working in maintained or non-maintained schools in Wales for at least 15 years after a professional standards panel found all allegations against him proven.
The panel concluded that the father-of-two's conduct over ten years put others in danger and ruled that he cannot apply for reinstatement to the Education Workforce Council (EWC) Wales register until at least November 2040. Former and current staff recounted how Richards' behaviour, while he was head teacher from 2011 to 2021, had left numerous women
