The Giants on Thursday gave their fans a nice Thanksgiving treat, as they announced Jaxson Dart has cleared the concussion protocol.
So the promising rookie quarterback will make his eighth NFL start Monday night, when the 2-10 Giants visit the 10-2 Patriots.
After that, the Giants are off in Week 14 and then finish the season against the Commanders, Vikings, Raiders and Cowboys.
Dart missed two games (losses to the Packers and Lions) after suffering his first NFL concussion in the Nov. 9 loss at the Bears.
The Giants have lost six straight games — a stretch during which they fired coach Brian Daboll and defensive coordinator Shane Bowen. But they’re hopeful that Dart’s return can help them make the most of the home stretch to yet another miserable season.
