A woman has been found guilty of killing another woman by stabbing her in Aberdeen . ‌

Dionne Wilson, 31, was convicted of the culpable homicide of Sara Irvine , 34, yesterday following a trial at the High Court in Edinburgh. ‌

Sara was found with serious injuries after emergency services were called to a property on Auchinleck Road on Wednesday, 17 April, 2024. She died as she was being conveyed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment. ‌

Detective Inspector Gavin Fleming, senior investigating officer , said: “This was a shocking and violent attack that resulted in the horrific death of a much-loved young woman.
