TITUSVILLE, Fla. – A so-called “ Super Speeder ” was arrested on Tuesday after a high-speed traffic stop in Brevard County.

According to a probable cause affidavit, a Brevard County deputy was conducting stationary radar enforcement along I-95 and State Road 46 near Titusville when he observed a blue BMW speeding in the left lane.

The vehicle was estimated to be going 90 mph in a 70 mph zone. The patrol car’s radar confirmed the speed at 94 mph. As the deputy moved to intercept, the BMW accelerated further, reaching 111 mph while passing other drivers, the sheriff’s office said.

The driver, identified as Yehya Ramzi from Bronx, New York, was stopped on the shoulder of I-95. Ramzi was arrested for dangerous excessive speed under Florida’s “Super Speeder” law and transported to the Bre
