OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - After a chilly but sunny Thanksgiving, clouds are set to increase overnight tonight heading into the start of a busy 3 days over the weekend.
Friday will be cloudy all day with very spotty light snow possible after 9am. Most of that will likely be on the Iowa side of the river deep into the evening too.
Southeast wind gusts start to pick up through the day too with gusts near 30 mph by late afternoon. You could easily have some blowing snow if you get some snow showers Friday PM.
For the rivalry game between the Cornhuskers and Hawkeyes, a few snow showers are possible but it’s NOT expected to impact travel nor the game itself. Temperatures won’t change a lot staying around freezing. Make sure to bundle up!
