Dalgas has been a mainstay in Class 6A girls distance running over the past four years. She’s a four-time state placer in the cross country championships, finishing sixth and a freshman and third as a sophomore.
In both the 2024 and 2025 state championships, Dalgas was the state runner-up to Chloe Huyler and then to Ellery Lincoln. Huyler is now competing at Notre Dame while Lincoln announced that she’s committed to Oregon earlier this fall.
As a junior, Dalgas was sixth in the Nike Cross Northwest Regional Championships. This
