St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church is celebrating two hundred years of history and community.

The bicentennial celebrations will launch on Dec. 3, the Feast of St. Francis Xavier, with a mass at 5:30 p.m., followed by a presentation of the history of the church given by former parish priest Father Brian Price.

Father Price was the parish priest of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church from 1999 until Jan. 10, 2022. He possesses a wealth of knowledge not only of the church but also of the impact the church has had on Brockville through the many remarkable people who have been part of the parish.

Father Price will share his detailed knowledge of the church at 6:30 p.m. after the mass, with fellowship and light refreshments following.
