The airline has delivered a major boost for the Scottish airport , basing a seventh aircraft there and launching four new routes, writes Business Editor Ian McConnell.

Hopefully, there will be more good news on flights across Scotland’s airports as the airline continues its expansion .

The UK country manager of easyJet was upbeat about the prospects for further expansion of flights in Scotland when I interviewed him earlier this month.

And it did not take long for the details of what is a major boost to Glasgow Airport from easyJet to emerge.

The news came in two stages.
