A review of the town’s “Ready and Resilient Barrington” report touched off an animated discussion during the recent town council meeting.

Barrington resident Chuck Paul, a member of the Barrington Resilience and Energy Committee, voiced his frustrations with the town. Paul said he is very concerned about the next big storm to target Barrington and the surrounding area — he called it “the big Kahuna.” He said the town’s sewer pumping stations need to be flood-proofed before that storm hits.
