He was going to shadow the Tappara pro team in Finland after being invited by coach Rikard Gronborg, an Olympic silver medallist and two-time world champion with Team Sweden.
Then, he was going to Sweden to work with another pro team, Djurgarden.
The trip was part of his continuing efforts to improve as a coach.
