Cold rain showers move into the area in the evening and continue overnight.

Saturday is an Impact Day due to these cold rain showers and the chance for snow. Kansas City will see cold rain showers for most of the day, but dropping evening temperatures will allow rain to transition to wintry mix and snow for a short period of time.

As a result, Kansas City will see less than half an inch of snow, mainly on grassy surfaces. Northern Missouri and areas to the northeast of KC will see around 1-3 inches, but this range could change. Continue to check back in with us as we approach the event.
