A payroll glitch at Windsor's English public school board that caused some employees not to be paid first thing this morning has now been fixed, a board spokesperson said.
But a local union president says it's still impacting her members.
Madeline McEachern, a spokesperson for the Greater Essex County District School Board (GECDSB), said affected employees will be paid by the end of the day Friday, which is their usual pay day.
“There was a technical error that meant some employees did not receive their paycheque first thing this morning,” McEachern said.
She added that employees will be paid between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m., but did not comment on how many employees were impacted.
