Met Office forecasts heavy rain for Durham weekend weather

The Met Office has forecast heavy rain for Durham this weekend.

Saturday, November 29, will start off partly cloudy, with temperatures around 6°C.

The sky will become overcast by midday, with light rain expected at 2pm.

The rain will intensify to heavy showers by 3pm, with temperatures remaining steady at 5°C.

The heavy rain will continue throughout the afternoon and into the evening, with temperatures slightly rising to 6°C by 7pm.

The chance of rain will peak at 90 per cent from 8pm to 9pm.

Winds will gradually increase from 4mph at 1pm to 17mph by 11pm.

Sunday, November 30, will start off with light rain at 6am, with temperatures around 4°C.

The rain will become heavy by 8am, before easing off to light showers by 9am.
