SHREVEPORT, La. - The celebration continues this week after the Caddo Parish Commission formally honored the Donnie Bickham Middle School Lady Patriots for completing a perfect 12–0 season... a rare feat that commissioners say reflects the rising strength of youth softball across northwest Louisiana.

During the recent commission meeting, leaders paused their regular agenda to spotlight the team’s dominance reading a resolution commending the players for “consistently performing at a high level” and representing their school with “pride and excellence.”

Principal Dennis Spires, who has guided the school through multiple athletic milestones, confirmed the flawless run, telling commissioners,

“We were 12 and 0.”
