Man dead after Parkland neighborhood shooting, according to LMPD

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A man is dead after a shooting in the Parkland neighborhood, according to Louisville Metro Police.

Officers responded to a call at around 3:07 p.m. of a shooting in the 1400 block of Catalpa Street on Friday, Nov. 28.

At the scene, officers found a man who had been shot and attempted first aid treatment until EMS arrived. The victim was declared dead at the scene.

LMPD’s Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation, and detectives are working to uncover what led to the shooting and what a possible motive could be.

Police say there is no known suspect at this time.
