In the final regular-season game of his college career, Iowa football quarterback Mark Gronowski made history.
The Hawkeyes ' signal-caller rushed for 64 yards in his team's 40-16 win at Nebraska on Nov. 28, increasing his season rushing total to 491 yards, breaking the program's single-reason record by a QB.
The previous record was held by Kenny Ploen, who set the previous high mark at 487 yards in 1956.
Gronowski also added two rushing touchdowns against the Huskers, increasing his season total to 15.
